Cooking Oil Collection Campaign
In 2025, HT Micron’s Social Responsibility Group donated 5 liters of used cooking oil to the organization Mundo Mais Limpo, an initiative that promotes the proper recycling of this type of waste.
As a result of this initiative, the organization provided three bars of soap made from recycled oil, which were later raffled off during the 2025 Environment Week program, raising awareness about sustainable practices among employees.
Improper disposal of cooking oil can have significant impacts on the environment. It is estimated that 10 liters of improperly disposed oil can contaminate up to 200,000 liters of water, a volume equivalent to a family’s annual consumption. Collection and recycling initiatives directly contribute to reducing this environmental impact.
